1. Data Controller

The data controller is PROTECH PRODUCTION, s.r.o., with its registered office at Bezová 1658/1, 147 00 Prague 4, Company ID: 25750178, VAT ID: CZ25750178, Czech Data Box ID: 4i7ve27, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 66840 (the “Controller”).

2. Personal Data We Process

We process only the data needed to communicate with you, prepare a quotation and provide our services, in particular:

• your first and last name and, where applicable, company name,
• email address and telephone number,
• the content of your enquiry, messages and subsequent business communications,
• information needed to prepare and deliver an event that you provide voluntarily,
• information contained in agreements, orders, invoices and related documents if an agreement is concluded,
• basic technical data generated while the website operates, such as your IP address, the date and time of a request, the requested URL and browser identification, where recorded in the server’s operational or security logs.

3. Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing

• Handling an enquiry, preparing a quotation and negotiating an agreement: taking steps prior to entering into an agreement or the Controller’s legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry (Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR).
• Providing the ordered services and communicating with the Customer: performance of an agreement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Accounting and tax records: compliance with the Controller’s legal obligations (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
• Protecting legal claims, securing the website and preventing misuse: the Controller’s legitimate interest in protecting its rights and operating the website securely (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not use contact details obtained through an enquiry to send unrelated marketing communications without an appropriate legal basis.

4. Data Retention

We delete or anonymise data from an enquiry that does not lead to an engagement, together with the related communications, no later than 12 months after the last communication. If an agreement is concluded, we retain related communications for the duration of the engagement and usually for three years after its completion and settlement in order to protect legal claims. Agreements, invoices, and accounting or tax documents are retained for the periods required by applicable law. Operational and security logs are retained only for as long as necessary to secure, diagnose and protect the website.

Once the purpose of processing no longer applies and there is no other legal basis for retention, we delete or anonymise the data.

5. Recipients of Personal Data

Enquiries sent by email are delivered to a mailbox on the protechp.cz domain and remain in that mailbox and, where applicable, in ordinary accounting or contract records. They are not automatically copied or forwarded to a CRM, newsletter platform, shared cloud storage or any similar service.

Personal data may be accessed, to the extent necessary, by providers of web hosting, server and email services, IT support, accounting or legal services, and by suppliers involved in delivering a specific event where sharing the data is necessary for that purpose. Data may also be disclosed to public authorities where required by law.

The Controller does not intend to transfer personal data outside the European Union or European Economic Area. If such a transfer were to take place through a particular supplier, it would be based on an appropriate legal mechanism and safeguards under the GDPR.

6. Cookies and Browser Storage

The website currently does not use analytics or marketing cookies and does not load third-party analytics or advertising tools. To avoid repeatedly displaying the introductory animation during a single session, the website stores the value protech-intro-morph-seen in the browser’s technical sessionStorage. This value contains no name, contact details or advertising-profile identifier and is removed when the browser session ends.

7. Your Rights

Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to:

• access your personal data,
• have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected,
• have personal data erased,
• restrict processing,
• data portability,
• object to processing based on legitimate interests,
• withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before consent was withdrawn,
• lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection.

8. Whether You Must Provide Data

Providing information in an email or telephone enquiry is voluntary. Without contact details and the information needed to assess your request, however, we may be unable to accept and respond to your enquiry.

9. Automated Decision-Making

Personal data processed through this website is not subject to automated individual decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects for you.

10. Exercising Your Rights and Changes to this Policy

You may exercise your rights through our Czech Data Box (ID: 4i7ve27), by email at info@protechp.cz, or by post at the company’s registered office. We may update this Policy, particularly if the services we use or legal requirements change. The current version will always be published on this page.
